COMMUNIQUE: 30th COMMEMORATION OF GENOCIDE AGAINST THE TUTSI

The Management of INES-Ruhengeri wishes to remind all staff, students, and customers of the following:

- On 24th May 2024, INES-Ruhengeri will observe a special day to commemorate the Genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi in 1994.

- To prepare for this event, morning classes (including all teaching and learning activities) and administrative services will conclude at 11:30 am.

- At 1:30 pm, all staff and students are expected to gather for a memorial walk from INES-Ruhengeri to the Genocide Memorial Site of "Cour d'Appel" (located at the Headquarters of the District of Musanze), starting from the Main Hall grounds.

- Following the memorial walk, the second part of the ceremony will take place in tents set up in front of the Main Hall.

- Additionally, a Holy Mass for the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi will be held at INES-Ruhengeri's Main Hall from 6:45 am to 7:45 am on 24th May 2024.
