A prospective student to enroll in Bachelors of Science with Honors in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences should present the Advanced General Certificate of Secondary School Education with a minimum of 2 principal passes from (MCB, PCB and BCG) with A to C Grade in Biology and Chemistry.
Note:Applicants with foreign academic qualifications shall obtain an equivalence of their certificates with Rwandan system of education from the Rwanda Education Board (REB).

Bachelors of Science with Honors inCivil Engineering

A prospective student to enroll in the first year in Bachelors of Science with Honors in Civil Engineering must have successfully completed secondary school level at least 2 principal pass and having majored at least in the following cluster combinations:
· PCM: Physics - Chemistry – Mathematics;
· MPG: Mathematics - Physics – Geography
· MPC: Mathematics – Physics - Computer Sciences
· PEM: Physics – Economics - Mathematics
· MEG: Mathematics – Economics - Geography
· MEC: Math - Economy - Computer,
· MCB: Mathematics - Chemistry - Biology,
· MPB: Mathematics-Physics-Biology,
The students successfully completed secondary school level with two principal passes in Construction or their equivalent may also be enrolled.
However, the candidates from above combinations who did not get the grade A or B in Mathematics or Physics, and all candidates from construction must undergo the Bridging courses of Mathematics and Physics, and must pass them before being registered.
