On 28th November 2025, INES-Ruhengeri held a highly impactful public talk aimed at equipping final year students with the mindset and skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-changing professional world. The event brought together students from all departments for an engaging session under the theme “Evolving for Impact: How Continuous Learning Fuels Global Success and Community Growth.”

The keynote speaker, Mr. Moussa TRAORE from Senegal, shared powerful insights on the role of lifelong learning in driving career advancement and community transformation. Drawing from his experience, he highlighted how global competitiveness increasingly depends on adaptability, continuous skills development, and a commitment to personal growth.

Mr. Traore emphasized that students entering the job market must be proactive, flexible, and willing to keep learning beyond the classroom. His talk encouraged participants to view learning as an ongoing journey that fuels innovation, leadership, and long-term success.

Dr. Uwilingiyimana Charline, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics and Research, noted that this public talk aligns with the institution’s mission to prepare students for professional excellence. “Our goal is to ensure that final year students transition into the world of work with confidence, practical knowledge, and a strong foundation for career development,” she said.

Heads of Departments played a key role in coordinating the participation of students, ensuring that all final year learners attended this important academic engagement. Their support contributed to the success of the event and reinforced INES-Ruhengeri’s commitment to holistic student development.

The institution believes that such initiatives not only enhance academic experiences but also nurture graduates who are ready to compete, innovate, and contribute meaningfully at national, regional, and global levels.
