Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri) is pleased to announce a career opportunity for the position of Director of Quality Assurance. Key Responsibilities

The Director of Quality Assurance will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring institutional quality assurance policies and frameworks.

  • Coordinating internal and external audits to ensure compliance with the Higher Education Council (HEC) and other regulatory bodies.

  • Overseeing program accreditation, curriculum review, and quality evaluation processes.

  • Guiding faculties and administrative units in applying quality standards.

  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting institutional data on academic quality, research, and service delivery.

  • Organizing training workshops to strengthen the quality culture within INES-Ruhengeri.

  • Advising senior management on quality assurance issues and recommending improvements.

Qualifications and Experiences

Applicants must have:

  • A PhD in Education, Quality Assurance, Higher Education Management, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in higher education quality assurance, accreditation, or academic administration.

  • Strong knowledge of national and international higher education frameworks.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • High integrity, analytical thinking, and commitment to academic excellence.

Additional Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to apply student-centered teaching methods.

  • Research and analytical skills with a record of academic publications and participation in workshops.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in English.
