Mr. RUKUNDO Eric is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnologies, Faculty of Engineering and Technology at INES-Ruhengeri. He is a Rwandan professional known for his ambitious spirit, strong work ethic, adaptability, and high motivation in his academic and professional pursuits.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the Institute for Sustainable Energy, Shanghai University, Faculty of Sciences, where his research focuses on the electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide.

Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences and a Master’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Dalian University of Technology. This academic foundation equips him with multidisciplinary expertise across biomedical sciences, chemistry, and applied biotechnologies. At INES-Ruhengeri, he contributes to teaching, student mentorship, and practical scientific training in the Biotechnologies Department.

He has also completed several professional training programmes, leadership certifications, and specialised short courses, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and excellence.
