Dr. Fabrice NKURUNZIZA holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, specialization: Money and Banking from the former National University of Rwanda (NUR-Butare/Rwanda); a Master of Science in Economics from Lovely Professional University (LPU-Punjab/India); successfully completed the Applied Quantitative Economics Preparation for a Doctorate (AQEPD); and is a PhD holder in Data Science (specialization: Econometrics).

He is currently African Centre for Career Enhancement & Skills Support (ACCESS) Coordinator/Rwanda.

He is an expert in the use of software mainly useful in Social Sciences such as R-Studio, SPSS, EVIEWS, and STATA. He has a good publication record, including works in international peer-reviewed journals, and supervises students’ research projects in the Departments of Applied Economics and Statistics Applied to Economy. His current research interests are mainly in the effects of policies affecting consumption behavior, saving, education, and finance in the age of big data.
