Ms. MANYWA Mahoro Esther is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at INES-Ruhengeri, a role she began on 1 December 2025. She is an IT Technician and Software Engineer with a solid foundation in software development, systems support, and information technology services. Esther holds both a Bachelor’s degree (2023) and a Master’s degree (2025) in Software Engineering from INES-Ruhengeri.

Before joining the academic staff, Esther served as an IT Technician at INES-Ruhengeri, where she supported the university’s digital infrastructure and contributed to technology-driven solutions across departments. Her professional experience also includes roles with Apogee Hospitality, Sonarwa General Insurance, and Brighter Rwanda NGO, where she strengthened her skills in software development, data management, and ICT systems support.

Esther is an active member of the tech community, regularly sharing her projects on GitHub as part of her commitment to continuous learning and innovation. She has completed several ICT-related certifications, including ICDL, which further enhance her technical proficiency.

Her dedication and performance have earned her recognition, notably the Best Female Debater Award and the Youngest Employee Award at Brighter Rwanda NGO.

Beyond her professional work, Esther enjoys travelling, exploring nature, and reading, activities that inspire her creativity and broaden her worldview.
