Ms. Angélique DUSABE is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology at INES-Ruhengeri. She holds a Master’s degree in Food Science and Biotechnology from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Arusha, Tanzania.
Her areas of expertise include postharvest handling, storage, and management of agricultural commodities, assessment of postharvest losses, value addition and crop processing, as well as the development of safe food products. She also has skills in diet planning and human nutrition.
Ms. Dusabe’s research interests focus on food product development and food systems, with a particular emphasis on reducing postharvest losses. As an Assistant Lecturer, her goal is to inspire the next generation of scientists by promoting student-centred learning approaches and building their confidence in problem-solving.
