Berhanemeskel W. ATSBEHA is a seasoned academic and researcher with over two decades of teaching and leadership experience in pharmaceutical sciences and public health. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at INES-Ruhengeri, Rwanda.

Originally from Ethiopia, Mr. ATSBEHA holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutics from Addis Ababa University and a Master of Arts in Marketing Management from the University of Gondar, where he also served as Assistant Professor and Head of the School of Pharmacy. His academic contributions span pharmacology, pharmaceutical supply chain management, healthcare marketing, and digital health strategies.

Mr. ATSBEHA has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and co-authored educational resources, including a pharmaceutical sciences dictionary and modules on health teamwork. He has contributed to curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and received multiple awards for excellence in research and education.

He has also consulted for organizations such as CIDRA Ltd and CDP Africa, focusing on research development and healthcare systems improvement. He holds certifications in digital marketing, social marketing strategy, AI in healthcare, and public health programming from institutions such as WHO, FAO, and Google.

His research interests include:

  • Pharmaceutical formulation and manufacturing

  • Healthcare system improvement

  • E-commerce and digital marketing in health

  • Pharmaceutical supply chain management

  • Public health policy development

He is a licensed pharmacy expert in Ethiopia and an active member of the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association, Ethiopian Public Health Association, and the International Association for Public Health Logisticians.
