Dr. SIBOMANA Eric is a Senior Lecturer of Economics and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences, and Management (ESSM) at INES-Ruhengeri. He holds a PhD in Economics (2018) from Annamalai University, a Master of Applied Economics (5-year integrated program, 2024) and a Master of International Relations (2014) from the same university, as well as a Bachelor of Public Administration (2012) from Tamil Nadu Open University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation at Mount Kenya University.

Dr. Sibomana has taught a wide range of modules in undergraduate and postgraduate programs related to Economics and Business Management. He has also held several senior academic leadership roles, including Head of Department, Dean of Faculty, and Deputy Principal for Academic and Research Affairs.

In the area of research, he has published extensively in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has supervised more than 160 undergraduate, 40 postgraduate, and 1 PhD research project (as co-supervisor). Beyond INES, he lectures part-time at various institutions across Rwanda and serves as an external evaluator for theses and dissertations both locally and internationally. He also contributes to academic program development and serves as a subject matter expert with the Rwanda Higher Education Council (HEC).
