Profile: Dr NTIRIKWENDERA Déo
Dr. Ntirikwendera Déogratias born in Rwanda on 29th of January 1979, is a holder of PhD degree in Material Sciences &Engineering, option Materials Physics and Chemistry, from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT)/China, under the supervision of Professor Zhang JiaTao. He also holds a master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the same University and a Bachelor of science in Physics-Chemistry–Education, from Kigali Institute of Eduaction (current University of Rwanda-College of Education).
Dr Ntirikwendera is a qualified physics Lecturer with an experience of more than 14 years in teaching at secondary and university levels. He is able to effectively communicate with students from diverse backgrounds or varying degrees of ability,a committed and dedicated professional with a proven ability to teach, motivate and direct students to maximum performance by encouraging a positive and energetic environment .
He is also involved in research activities with publication in Nano Research an internationally recognised journal. His interests of reseach includes Nanomaterials Physics,Nanoplasmonics and computational Materials Sciences. In his free time, he practices yoga, football, volley ball and explores the city for good vegetarian cuisine.
