MUHWEZI Patrick is an academician holding a Master of Arts in Linguistics from Kampala International University, Uganda. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a focus on English and Kiswahili. He has diverse experience, having worked as a Grade Three Teacher, Secondary School Teacher, Early Childhood Development (ECD) Tutor, and Kiswahili Instructor in various technical institutions in Uganda. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Lecturer at INES-Ruhengeri Institute of Applied Sciences in Rwanda, specializing in the Department of French-English Education.

Before relocating to Rwanda, he worked as a part-time Lecturer at Kabale University, Kyambogo University, and Metropolitan International University. His primary areas of interest within Linguistics include Phonetics and Phonology, Applied Linguistics, Lexicography, Semantics and Pragmatics, Morphology and Syntax, as well as Sociolinguistics, among others.
