08 July 2026

As part of its commitment to continuous professional development and service excellence, INES-Ruhengeri organized a refresher training for its staff today, focusing on key competencies that support institutional growth and effective workplace performance.

The training featured three insightful presentations designed to enhance staff knowledge and practical skills in today's dynamic working environment. The sessions covered:

  • Customer Care and Professional Communication – emphasizing excellence in service delivery, effective communication, and building positive relationships with students, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration at Work – introducing practical ways AI tools can improve productivity, streamline daily tasks, and support innovation in higher education.
  • Effective Reporting – highlighting best practices for preparing clear, accurate, and impactful reports that facilitate informed decision-making and institutional accountability.

Dr. Jean Paul Mpakaniye, Director of Human Resources at INES-Ruhengeri, facilitates a refresher training session for staff on customer care and professional communication and effective reporting.

The refresher training provided an opportunity for staff members to exchange experiences, strengthen professional competencies, and embrace modern approaches to workplace efficiency.

Through such capacity-building initiatives, INES-Ruhengeri continues to invest in its human capital, ensuring that staff remain equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver quality services and contribute to the institution's mission of academic excellence and innovation.
