On 24 March 2026, INES-Ruhengeri officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA), marking a significant step toward strengthening collaboration in tax education, research, and national development.
This strategic partnership establishes a general framework for cooperation between the two institutions, clearly defining their respective roles and responsibilities in supporting the Government of Rwanda’s efforts to enhance domestic revenue mobilization, in alignment with Vision 2050.
Through this agreement, INES-Ruhengeri and RRA commit to fostering knowledge exchange and capacity building in taxation and related fields. The partnership will facilitate the delivery of high-quality, professional training programs in tax administration and other taxation-related disciplines. These programs will be jointly designed and implemented, drawing on the expertise of qualified trainers from both institutions—blending academic knowledge with practical, real-world experience.
The collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to developing skilled professionals equipped to support Rwanda’s economic growth and efficient tax systems.
This MoU reflects INES-Ruhengeri’s continued commitment to building impactful partnerships that enhance education, innovation, and national development.
