INES-Ruhengeri Hosts Public Talk to Prepare Future Legal Professionals

Today, the Faculty of Law at INES-Ruhengeri hosted an insightful public talk under the theme "Preparing Future Legal Professionals: Upholding Justice, Ethics, and Innovation in a Changing World."

The session was facilitated by experienced legal expert Me Ignace Havugimana, who shared practical perspectives on the evolving legal profession and the justice sector. Students explored the current legal industry landscape in Rwanda, the region, and globally, gaining a broader understanding of the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of legal practice.

The discussion also highlighted the essential competencies required in today's workplace, including professional ethics, critical thinking, legal research, effective communication, adaptability, innovation, and lifelong learning. Through an interactive exchange, students connected their academic studies with real-world legal practice while receiving valuable guidance on career development and professional excellence.
