The Institut d'Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri) has officially launched a Call for Research Grant Proposals as part of its strategic commitment to advancing science-driven innovation and strengthening the integration of research across all academic disciplines. This multidisciplinary initiative seeks to promote applied research that responds to real-world challenges, reinforces collaboration between academia, industry, and communities, and accelerates the practical use of scientific knowledge for sustainable development and technological progress in Rwanda.
Through this call, INES-Ruhengeri aims to cultivate a dynamic research culture that empowers both academic staff and students to contribute meaningfully to national and regional development priorities. The program is structured around four core objectives designed to build institutional research capacity and deliver measurable impact.
This current call for proposals prioritizes research projects that demonstrate clear practical application and measurable outcomes. Proposals that present viable solutions to societal, industrial, environmental, and technological challenges are particularly encouraged. Through this initiative, INES-Ruhengeri reaffirms its commitment to advancing knowledge, nurturing innovation, and contributing to Rwanda’s sustainable development agenda.
