Dr. Prosper Ndizihiwe holds a PhD in Renewable Energy from the University of Rwanda (UR). He holds a M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS)- Cameroon; and a B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from the former National University of Rwanda (NUR).

Prior to joining INES Ruhengeri, He worked at IPAR-Rwanda as a Research Fellow in the cluster of Natural Resources and Environment Management and in Charge of Data Analysis.
He participated in different interventions and innovative programs in PV Systems, Bio-Energies Production, as an alternative to Fossil Fuels as Energy Sources in Rwanda and Malawi. He has published different peer-reviewed manuscripts, mobile applications and online calculators.
Dr. Prosper’s research focuses on Green Energy and Economy, Climate Change Mitigations and Adaptations and Environmental Protection Strategies.
